What helps you recharge? How often do you take time to just be still? I hadn't thought about those things until I realized (not that long ago) that I was more mentally exhausted than I had ever been before. And I realized I had stopped making time to do things that I loved- sitting outside, reading, photographing, and taking time to be still. Thanks to a wonderful new work schedule and an amazing husband- I was able to take a little time yesterday to do just those things. I parked myself at a little table outside of Starbucks in downtown Greenville and pulled out a much-anticipated read. I, of course, also had my camera sitting on the table, waiting to capture the setting around me. And you know what happened when I got up to leave? I felt refreshed. Happy. Energized.
